The Eroica race covers over one hundred kilometres of primarily unpaved roads departing from and returning to Gaiole in Chianti, its particularity consists on the fact that no mountain bikes or modern bicycles are allowed: competitors run with vintage bicycles and jersey that could be admired by spectators.
